people who think only liking Asian people isn’t a bad thing, that’s it’s not a fetish need to take a step back and realize that their preferences have created a business of marrying off Asian women to foreign men, that foreign men come to Asian countries (especially in Southeast Asia) for the sex industry, that foreigners go to places like Korea to specifically find a Korean person to date and marry. we aren’t getting angry because we want to, and even if we are, we have every right to be. Asian fetishization has a long and damaging history to us. it belittles us and it’s just another example of the rest of the world who only see us through one lens and clumps us together into “Asian features and behaviors”. it’s not flattering and not justifiable.
